How to clean a velvet ottoman

As the title says! Velvet ottoman with various stains (spilt juice etc). Any tips on how best to clean that won't cost the earth? Thank you

It might not be colourfast, so attempts to clean might draw the colour out. I'd try laying a damp cloth on the affected patches first to moisten them again and then perhaps a wee dab of gentle cleaning fluid like you'd use for delicate woollens. Using the back of a teaspoon for gentle rubbing. And plenty of dabs of damp cloths to remove the soap.

Ours is so easy to clean. Damp tea towel. But of dish soap it necessary. Comes up beautifully!
