Upside Down Living tips

We’ve seen a house we love but it’s ‘upside down’ so ground floor is bedrooms , bathrooms , office and utility. Upstairs is living , dining , kitchen .
I thought it was going to be our dream house until I realised this ! Main things I’m concerned about are having to go up and down the stairs for the loo constantly , not being able to see/ hear children when they’re in the garden and also not being able to eat outside easily without carrying everything up and down stairs.
Does anyone live upside down and love it ? Any top tips on how to make it work for a family ? It’s in the UK if that makes any difference .

Would it be possible to see the garden from the kitchen or living room? Could an outside staircase be installed direct from kit your living room to the garden? Those two things might make it easier to adapt to.
Have to admit, the idea of having to lug shopping upstairs would be putting me off and the hassle of getting sofas etc upstairs, as they tend not to be able to be taken apart as easy as a bed. But I guess the views are lovely.

Could you put a deck outside the kitchen with stairs down into the garden? That way you can eat outdoors but by the kitchen and have easy garden access.
