Rim lock? Likely to be original?

I believe they are called rim latches. No idea if it's original.

Looks original to me.

They look old-ish.

If the house is e.g. Victorian or Edwardian they may well be original. Or they may be antique hardware of an appropriate period which precious owners obtained from a salvage dealer.

If the house is medieval, they're not original. Equally, if the house was built in 1995, they're probably not part of the original fit-out there, either.

Thanks! 1901 terrace, I’d be surprised if anyone had sourced these handles, the house is a bit neglected

That's definitely a rim lock, it's got a keyhole. It looks quite old to me so you may not be able to get a direct replacement but this company do some

You can sometimes get them secondhand. Try eBay.
