We have been accepted to purchase a home under this scheme (30% discount).
I dont know too much about it yet (still waiting for conveyancing quotes) - does anyone else have any experience?
We will be the sole owners (with a caveat that the home gets sold on in perpetuity with the discount applied).
What I am wondering is if we will be able to do any renovations (ie an extension) or if there are restrictions on this...
And if we can, would this be a bad idea in any case due to the fact that we would technically be 'losing' 30% of extension resale value if we end up selling at some point down the line?
I'm a bit thick to be honest, and most of you are pretty savvy! Grateful for any help.
