Alcove cupboard hack

Hi,

I would really like to do the alcove cupboard hack, often ikea where people use ready built cupboards then just build the platform / mdf the sides to make them look built in. Did it with ikea wardrobes upstairs and it worked really well.

The only problem is, our alcoves are 100cm, and I can’t seem to find built cupboards that size. Any ideas anyone?!

John Lewis mix it wardrobes come in 100cm wide.

fittingly will make cupboards to size and send them to you flat-pack like IKEA. bit more expensive than IKEA but a lot cheaper than a custom build.

@Bingbangbongbash sorry I should have been clearer, I meant I used a similar hack for upstairs but that was wardrobes, this is smaller cupboards for downstairs (hope that makes sense - the type you have shelves above!)
