Please recommend me window supplier

We need to replace the windows in our house and have been given ridiculously high quotes by Everest and Anglian. Just to be clear one of those quotes came to £25000. I guess local companies would be cheaper but I’m not sure how to find a decent one - we’re in London. I would really appreciate if you can recommend any companies you’ve heard of or used.

I have no idea as to how much window replacements cost and worried I will end up massively overpaying. Thank you.

We've just accepted a quote for £4k for a front door plus surround.

Depends on windows I think.. we've had a smallish bedroom window replaced recently for £350. A bay would be £3k.

We had Anglian windows over 30 years ago and they're still in perfect condition. We're having to replace those provided by others.

We are SE London (ish) and had £25k quote from Anglian too. We ended up paying £4200 from a company in Kent. Very happy with them. They were installed last week.

@MrsPeacockDidIt would you mind sharing the company in Kent you used? We are Kent based and looking for windows and just had a ridiculous quote from Anglian. Thank you.
