Do you have a reliable oven?

My oven packed up and I need to buy another. I don't need fancy functions, trying to keep costs down and obvs want it to last a long time.

I'd really only use grill, fan oven and a pyrolytic function would make me very happy.

Would you recommend yours?

OK so mine is top of the line but it’s a decade old and amazing. It’s a Gaggenau. Look on eBay - about a third of the price if you get an ex display. I have heard good things about Bosch and Miele too but they are much cheaper (though still not cheap!)

I have a Miele, now 11 years old, does have a few more functions than I need but it is pyrolytic (the main reason for buying it). I love it and if it ever dies I will buy another.

I have a five year old Bertazzoni Professional (although mine's a range cooker) and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Style over substance sums it up. When it dies we'll not be getting another Bertazzoni!
