Anyone know anything about fridges?

I have a small open plan kitchen living room and my 4 year old Swan fridge freezer which has previously been whisper quiet is now constantly buzzing and driving us all mad. So far I have tried fully defrosting it, and pulling it out to hoover the back - it was pristeen behind there, however a screw was missing connecting the wire backing to the body of the fridge, we have replaced this screw and if anything it has made the noise worse 🙈 any ideas please?

Is it the high temperature alarm?

@Spacie I don't think so, no issues with it not being cold enough, we've tried lowering it all the way down and with it on maximum, still the same noise 🙃🙃

Is it level? I sometimes manage to move our big fridge / freezer out of position when cleaning and the kitchen floor is not completely level (even though it looks it). The buzzing starts and doesn't stop until it's back in a nice level position (which can just be a few mm).

Yes, check it is level. It may be easy to check just be pushing lightly against it when it is 'buzzing' from different sides.

Try hitting the door with the flat of your hand.

Works on mine!
