Solidor or something else?

Moving house soon and the new house has a very old wooden door that is warped and has holes in it.

Just browsing Solidoor, is there any other good brands to look at?

(Would love to replace with a wooden door to match the age of the house (Victorian terrace) but thinking it will be too expensive to replace, and not sure what we would use in the meantime if it was taken away for repair)

Tod doors

Have a look at the reviews of Solidor on TrustPilot 👀

Another option is Endurance doors, made in UK

I think Rock door is the other brand thats usually mentioned. We have Solidor after all the recommendations on here - I think you do have to be careful though in terms of fitting, ours was supply only and fitted by a builder as part of an extension.

Our priority was security - its a 30s house and we had the 30s wooden door kicked in and were burgled so wanted something very solid - pardon the pun, but thats what Solidor feels. It's obviously not original but doesn't look too out of place with the style of the house (designed it with similar shapes / coloured glass etc).

We've got two Solidor doors and patio doors and they are great! Well worth the money and quite stylish (I think)
