Silestone countertop? (Lusso)

Has anyone used this?

I really wanted a real marble, but this is looking pretty good. We are taking out an old hardwood cherry kitchen and re-installing the base cabinets and a dresser as the price of new kitchens is insane. So I want something light and neutral to go with it. Having stainless steel appliances.

We have Silestone, although not the colour you suggest. Ours is alumino nube or something like that. It's beautiful and very hard-wearing although we are very careful to look after it.

Brilliant, thank you! In what way do you have to be careful to look after it?

Don’t get it, we got our silestone (snowy ibiza) from cosentino. Please see image. Over a few years, the area where there is likely to be more water exposure by the tap area has yellowed, and there is no way of rectifying it. I contacted consentino, their aftercare service is ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. They proceeded to send me a very draconian care guide (which surprisingly we were not given a copy of at the point of purchase), which said you cannot have any water lingering on the worktop, must wipe it away quickly etc.So when they claim that silestone is water-resistant, it absolutely isn’t! It is a very impractical product, unless you become a slave to it, constantly drying it and polishing it, and we are a very clean and tidy household, where the worktop is wiped every night, I don’t know how much more diligent you can be. The yellowing is very noticeable and really bothers me.

you have been warned!
