Has anyone used the click2go self install system? Seems too good to be true!

Sorry, no, but curious, so just hanging out for a bit.

Can't answer for those blinds, but I have used their Easy Fit Conservatory Blinds, and they are amazing. So much easier than trying to drill into the wall/window.

I've bought both curtains and blinds for them and can't fault the quality.

Yes we have 2 roman blinds with the click2go system - they are amazing! We had our doubts about this, but I can definitely tell you they work and work very well. Oh, fitting - once we worked out how it worked (hubby not reading instructions 😂), literally 2 minutes per window. If we ever buy blinds again, we will go down this route for sure

I'm following this topic!

Are there any solutions for windows in UPVC doors?

amanda171 · 03/02/2023 13:45

Yes there is - also from Blinds2go - you want perfect fit blinds - see my pics attached :) They have metal clips that slide between the black rubber gasket and the glass - the blinds have their own frame which attaches to these. I can slide them up to any height I want and still open and close, or in my case - I leave them down all the time - just slide them up for cleaning the glass - hope this helps! They have full instructions on their website on how to measure for them

I got these, and they are brilliant. Fitted 3 blinds in ten minutes.

Just make sure you measure accurately, as if you order one 6cm too big (like I did) you're buggered 😂

RubiesandRose · 03/02/2023 14:15

Yes! Received ours last weekend and they are brilliant. Had some misgivings when we unpacked them as it looked terribly complicated but the reality was the clicked in really easily and look great, so highly recommending!

Ignore doorstep which is due a coat of gloss as we make over our living room.

Yes, we got them for some French doors. Really quite easy to put together and install ourselves. My parents got a company to fit theirs and it cost so much more and is quite unnessecary.

LaLaFlottes · 03/02/2023 14:25

Yes we have two very large and one small roman blinds fitted this way and they are amazing! I put them up in no time and they look great. Very happy!

Happygone · 03/02/2023 14:38

How do they work? They look great

Have you got a link for these please? I can only see ones that look like they're made of paper.

amanda171 · 03/02/2023 15:05

Link to perfect fit in aluminium - 62 options mine are kind of a greige colour - www.blinds-2go.co.uk/perfect-fit/refine/pf-49/type-27

GasPanic · 03/02/2023 15:06

PerfectFit worked well for me.

Only issue was the windows are quite old so the rubber seal kind of sticks to the glass. In order to get the brackets in you need a really thin piece of flexible metal, say razor blade thinckness or maybe a bit thicker (be careful if you do use a blade becasue you may cut the seal rather than separating it from the glass).

Then you push the metal in corner first to separate out the seal from the glass, then push the bracket in behind the metal and finally pull out the metal piece and it works fine.

TheFairyCaravan · 03/02/2023 15:14

We’ve got Perfect Fit ones in the lounge and hallway. They look so much better, and cleaner, than conventional Venetian blinds. When we’ve finished decorating the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms we’re getting them for in there too, because it’s much nicer not having a blind blowing in the wind when the windows are open.

When we ordered ours we got blackout roller blinds for the bedrooms, too, and the quality is excellent.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 03/02/2023 19:25

Thank you so much. They look great! Just what we need.

IhearyouClemFandango · 03/02/2023 21:03

Do you know of anything similar for roof lanterns?

bobblysock · 04/02/2023 12:09

Would they be suitable for a bedroom or let in too much light? We've got upvc windows that you either tilt open at the top, or swing open like a door into the room. Which means you current curtains always catch on them, and because of the radiator under the window, have to be stop at the window sill, so don't look as good as full length.

Fluffnotscruffy · 04/02/2023 12:14

Haven’t used the blinds but did install a set of full length shutters - so simple to install, very easy instructions to follow. I was well impressed with myself.
