We are considering moving to Kings Norton. What's the area like? How is it to live there? Especially very close to high street and Kings Nortan station. Its a lovely house and we are seriously considering it.

Just wondering if anyone has some experience of living round this way and what it's like? How is the crime rate? And does the traffic gets very bad especially in the morning time driving towards Kings Heath?

Thank you!

Nice place KN is - on the cross city commuter line - 15 -20 mins on the train from Birmingham New Street and regular services too.

Never lived there myself but I know surrounding areas - Selly Oak/Bournville/ Kings Heath can be rough..
Traffic can be a nightmare in the mornings - you’d get the commuters into Birmingham and also those that work at the QEHB and the Uni which aren’t that far away…

Thank you. Is this area considered on the other side of The Green? I have heard it's better to live in The Green in Kings Nortan....but not sure at all about the area near station and high street.
