Hi all, please could someone advise if this is the best order to get a new floor?
It's laminate being fitted over floorboards.
Remove skirting boards and fireplace
Patch any damaged plaster
Tile hearth
Fit floor
Refit fireplace
Fit skirtings
Also if anyone has done this recently in the NW and wouldn't mind sharing what they paid that would be great. We've been quoted £35psqm for the work including underlay, floor prep and labour.
