Question re tv cables in extendable wall bracket set up

I have an open plan kitchen living room. We have a wall mounted TV that faces the sofa in the living room area.
I would like to change the wall mounting to an extendable one so when I'm in the kitchen I can pull the TV out from the wall and rotate it 90° to face into the kitchen.
What I can't picture is what happens to the cables when you move the TV out and back. When the TV is pushed back against there must be excess cable ....? I'm I being dense?
If you have an extendable set up could you clarify for me.
TIA.

You fold them all up back behind tv, so they never drop.

Ours is near the back doors, so looks a mess from the back when walking in, as you obviously see all the back, but nothing hanging.

Thanks for replying and I apologise for not understanding. Do you mean every time you pull the TV out then back you have to
fold up the excess bit of the cables?

No, they are just bundled up behind we used to have cable ties on old telly, but didn’t bother when replacing. Also used to have a multi room sky box on the back.

Pics pulled out and back to show you.

You’re welcome.

Although pulling out to take pic made me realise how dusty the wires get, so have another job to do 😂
