How long does it take a mortgage offer to appear on a brokers portal?

As the title asks :)
Wondering how long it should take. My buyer got her offer before Christmas and the only delay before exchanging now is that her broker can't see the offer on his portal. We're feeling a bit fobbed off with excuses now but it could just be a genuine delay for some unbeknown reason. We didn't use a broker so not familiar.

When I used a broker he sends off all information and evidence and mortgage offer appears about 10 days later.

Depends on how long it's taking the Mortgage Provider to underwrite the loan. Whether they have had to request additional documents / evidence in support of the application, whether it meets their lending criteria, etc. Lots of reasons why it may not have gone straight to Offer which the adviser should be following up with the Provider.

@PlugUgly1980 thank you, we've been advised that the offer is in place and was given just before Christmas so I'm unsure why they'd need further information AFTER it's been given. The broker initially said on 9th Jan he expected it to show within 24 hours so we're still chasing.
