Ideas for coffee table/decor for navy sofa and white floor?

We have recently moved into our new home with lovely high gloss white flooring and an open plan kitchen living area. (Some tiles have a few cracks from the previous owners, any suggestions how to cover up very welcome). We have a bought a corner sofa in like a royal navy velvet material ( www.sofology.co.uk/sofas/downtown?code=SKU001069757&sosch=true ) which will take a couple months to arrive. Any suggestions for a coffee table / décor to go with this colour scheme? Thanks!

Put a carpet or bib rug in the living area. Tiles are cold everywhere. Nothing can be done with cracked tiles. Replace or cover up!!

So get a neutral rug and maybe a glass coffee table. John Lewis, West Elm, and The Rug Seller have loads of choice but avoid more navy. Alternative Flooring can make a rug for you.

I'd soften things with a wooden coffee table in natural wood - just steer clear of orangey tones. I think glass and tiles are a cold combination and I cannot stand the chink of mugs and glasses on glass
