Ive just had my house rewired including new basic pendant fittings. However, I cant fit any of my lampshades onto the fittings as there are not enough threads left on the shroud to screw together once the lampshade is between the two parts - if that makes sense! :-). My lampshades have a standard thin metal fitting and Ive used them in a couple of houses before without any problems at all. I was wondering if anyone knows of an extension of some sort .. very frustrating! :-)
