Replacing Window Sills

Partner and I have zero DIY skills but need to replace some rotting interior sills. If it’s too difficult a job for novices, would we need source a carpenter or a window fitter for this job? Thanks for any advice.

I should think a competent handy man would be able to do it tbh. You can buy supplies at B&Q or somewhere, then it’s just cutting and fitting. If you want wooden ones then I’d probably say carpenter so you get a nice looking piece of wood.

I had a couple replaced last year. My decorator did them, who also does handyman work. He did a good job of them.

Thank you both, it’s much appreciated! I think a handyman is the way to go.
