Am I missing a trick? Cleaning bathroom

Shadow1986 · 23/01/2023 21:10

We are in the process of changing our bathroom and I’m keen to keep this one really nice. Where do people keep their electric toothbrushes? We have 5 and they leave a mess on the sink (leave a dirty rim around the bottom), fall in the sink all the time…am I missing something here?!

any other tips for keeping bathrooms in nice condition?

Google electric toothbrush holders.
You can get a unit that can sit neatly on the sink or shelf or even wall mounted holders.

kitchen roll to dry the bottom after use

Cut a hole in a cotton wool pad and put it on the charger, change weekly.

We have a wall mounted electric toothbrush charger in our new bathroom

I don't have an electric toothbrush so am not sure whether this will work for you. I have a shelf with a couple of flannels folded in half sitting on top of the shelf (essentially like tablecloths but for a shelf!) then all lotions, creams, toothbrush, etc on top - flannel catches all drips and goes in the wash once a week.

I bought a holder thing. It was going to change my life. Now that gets dirty...
I now pay my 15 year old to clean the bathrooms so it isn't my problem any more.

Ok I’ve found some holders, I hadn’t realised they did wider ones for electric toothbrushes. Can imagine those getting grimy too but definitely better option than straight on the sink.

I like the idea of a wall charger, didn’t know about those thank you!

We use a Joseph Joseph holder, I put in it in the dishwasher every so often

We just 3d print holders so you'll be able to get them on Etsy or folksy or somewhere I'm sure

I have a cupboard over my sink with a shaver adapter inside the cupboard, so I can charge my toothbrush out of sight. It's one of my favourite things in the whole house!
