Fridge freezer in garage not freezing?

We're having some building work done on the house, so have moved the fridge freezer into the garage.
I've noticed the freezer has defrosted, even though nothing has changed (apart from the location).
Is this due to being outside and the temp out there being a lot lower?
Is there anything I can do to make it 'freeze' again?
I've already thrown a load of prawns out! ☺

Yeah, if it's under 10°c it'll malfunction.

it will do its too cold in the garage for most fridge freezers - need a special one to work in the garage sorry

Cooling function doesn’t work in cold temps as it thinks it’s cool enough, mine in the house did this in the cold snap! It’s fixed itself now.

Ah okay, I did think it may be something like that..... 😩
I guess it's only for 3 more weeks, then we'll have a new one.

So will the fridge work okay? We have a smaller fridge in there for beers, and that seems to keep them cold.

Put it this way, it's so fecking cold outside it doesn't matter if the fridge breaks, the contents will be just as cold..

When the temp drops and the fridge stops working for a few days, the contents would end up being colder out than in. If you have a way to store them safely outside the fridge till the temp goes back up again. The fridge will resume working then.
