Extension/renovation advice needed

Hi everyone. After lots of thought/conversations/prep etc we have now signed off on our extension/remodelling plans so we can stay in our house rather than moving. We love our house/neighbours/neighbourhood etc. I'm Mindful of the cost of living issue and that this thread may not be received very well given the potential costs but as I’m posting in this topic and not AIBu/chat etc Im hopeful I won’t receive much negativity. I’ve also name changed as our floor plans will be online. I’d like to start a thread to help change the internal layout of our house and when that’s finalised to plan and design each room. I’d love input from as many people as possible to critique our ideas and suggest alternatives. I can post our architects drawings and my ideas if anyone is happy to help? Many thanks.

Thank you! I’m a bit nervous as we haven’t got PP yet (shouldn’t be an issue) and overwhelmed by all the decisions we need to make. I don’t want to make any mistakes!

Thank you! This is our ground floor and top
floor. For now I’m looking at the ground floor layout and the laundry/office/storage area. I thought about blocking off the access from the laundry to the family room and having it in the lounge so the laundry is a galley with the dining room where the lounge is. We will be redoing the kitchen/dining area so it is a full kitchen with informal dining and a bar area built in. I wondered about re-siting the washer/dryer to the back of the study area or storage area. Or even upstairs in our proposed bathroom/walk in robe area. Our office is currently where the storage is going and gets no sun which is why we are swapping them over. Actually, I’ll add the middle floor plan too. Our extension is to the left of the plans.
