So I’m going to view a council house this Monday at 9:30am and I have to bring ID and proof of payments (universal credit etc) last time I viewed a house I went to the bank and got them to print of my recent bank statements showing my payments but I’m not going to be able to get to the bank before the viewing and the closest bank is a 25min drive so I’m a bit stressed out as if I don’t have these documents then I won’t be able to accept the house…am I able to print off a screenshot of my bank payments from home and use that instead? Was thinking to do this but it wouldn’t have my name or bank account in the screenshot, would just be a list of payments I’ve received so no proof that it’s my account. Really unsure what to do as I don’t have any letters with payments on and the banks don’t open till 9am on Monday I won’t be able to make it to the bank before my viewing. Can anyone tell me what they bought along to show proof of payments? Would a printed screenshot showing the universal credit I’ve been paid be valid as I’m unable to get my name or account number in it? 🥲
