How much did you pay to carpet stairs and landing?

I paid £660 inc fitting about 18 months ago, small 4 bed so not a huge landing. Price didn’t include underlay as I kept what was there nor removal and disposal of old carpet though.

As I wasn't too fussed about a specific colour, the shop was able to find me an offcut in grey. £300 to supply and fit.

We've just had a quote for £1100 for the carpet for two flights of stairs and a big landing. Not including underlay or fitting.

My quote last year was £3,015! It was a good quality Brinton + underlay.

We still have the old carpet!

That was for hall, stairs and landing btw.

We did our stairs and a small landing (about two metres long and as wide as the stairs) earlier this year. It was £350 for carpet and underlay. They weren't the cheapest options but not the most expensive either. We paid the fitters £70, that part was booked by the carpet supplier, Tapi Carpets.

Stairs, landing and two bedrooms (39m2 in total) £1200 including take up, disposal, underlay and fitting. Carpetright.
