I love this house!

Look at the history in it. And on top of that someone creative clearly lives there. I love the garden too. The only 😬for me is the possible spider tank in the bedroom. Though it might be lizards or something.

Giant parrot is terrifying!

LiteralSycamore · 19/01/2023 20:01

It’s fun. Not going to go down well with the Mn subset whose main ambition in life is ‘completely bare work surfaces’.

Mintchocmabel · 19/01/2023 20:46

I love it and hate it. Love the unique taste, the character and family space but I dislike that’s out of balance with the bedrooms - the parrot bedroom is in the cellar by the looks of it.

btw what is that picture on the right hand wall in photo 5? I’ve seen it somewhere before

Love it, wouldnt change a thing

I love it! So much personality!

I love it but the cleaning would drive me mad.

Fullsomefrenchie · 19/01/2023 21:27

If it was my mates, I’d think it was fab, but it’s not for me. Particularly the fact that one main bedroom is only accessed via the other.

Ha, yes! Thank you!

SilentHedges · 19/01/2023 22:57

Not for me, too cluttered, too much going on. Its a Vivarium in the bedroom, probably lizards that free roam on the house judging by some of the accessories. Good for them.

LuluBlakey1 · 19/01/2023 23:03

It's pretty and has lovely features but the rooms are really small and I wouldn't like to live in it. Not sure it would be very warm unless the fires were lit all winter.

LadyVictoriaSponge · 19/01/2023 23:12

I don’t like it at all, it looks as though it would be a really difficult house to actually live in, just plain awkward and hard to clean, it looks the type of house however much you cleaned it it would always feel dusty. I like character but much prefer the more elegant variety of high ceilings, cornices etc or the more contemporary character of barn conversions.

Wow there is a lot going on! I grew up in a similar house age-wise (beams, low ceilings). Looks like a fun place for the kids. But a lot of work needed if I was moving in.

Estate agents are hilarious 😄 why put a pic of monkeys hanging from cupboards? I guess I now know there is some built in storage!

Those cupboards would probably sell it to me! So cute!

TakeYourHatOffBoy · 20/01/2023 07:49

Love it. Kitchen and main bedroom are gorgeous. Not so keen on the parrot room but it's definitely unique. Love the painted stairs, great touch eyes own unpainted, uncarpeted stairs

Chupney · 20/01/2023 21:16

It looks like the sort of house where the owners are very happy people. It has a lovely vibe but the floorplan is not for me.

LadyGaGasPokerFace · 20/01/2023 21:26

Being tall I’d probably twat my head in those low ceilings, but it does look like a house with a story to tell. I love the bespoke kitchen units.

Tabitha1960 · 20/01/2023 21:52

I hate it. Most especially all the low, beamed ceilings. Ugh.
