Gas smell

Is it normal to get a feint gas smell now and again from a cupboard that gas pipes run through? I've had corgi registered plumbers out before with the "sniffer" abd they don't pick up anything.

It doesn’t sound great. There’s a helpline you can call if you smell gas. They come out pretty quickly

Dead mice can smell like gas. I learned this in a shared student flat 🤢
