Converting window to door

Is it possible to convert a window, a marked yellow in the photo, to a door? Ie to have double doors opening. Would it be fiendishly expensive?

Yes I did it. It wasn't mega expensive - but then it was 15 years ago

Yep but you might need to replace the unit for about 1000 fitted I expect

Ok thanks, if we are talking 1000 probably have to wait until a day I’m feeling very rich, as I can’t really rationalise it when it isn’t a necessity. Ie won’t happen. Oh well!
