Spraypainting UPvC window frames and ?composite front door

Hi all, hoping to renovate a recently bought property which has really dark and dated looking UPVC windows , some of which are actually brand new( fitted by previous owners) and a newish composite door. I’m thinking of having these spray painted dark grey outside and white inside. I contacted a local company and they mentioned about £ 175 per window although website advertised from approx £125 / window. I haven’t yet sent in pictures for an actual estimate but wondered if anyone has had upvc spray painted? Has it lasted? Does it look good ?
There are 2 large older bay windows and 4 other large windows ( 3 of these are brand new 😐) plus the new door at the front .Maybe I could just get the front windows etc done in interests of cost savings. The front of the property is south west facing and we’re in the Northwest. I don’t want the new windows being replaced to change the colour ,which is the other probably much more expensive option, although I haven’t actually looked into what new windows might cost.I feel like the dark brown (? mahogany )coloured windows both inside and out will bother me . What happens if a company offering 10 years or whatever guarantee on the work goes bust? Thank you for any tips and advice.

it is hard to get spray paint to stick to uPVC. i did it on some windows and it is fine if you don't touch it, but any bits of frame that get touched / scratched lose paint very quickly. but it is not too hard to touch up again.

We had our front door (composite) spray painted and it's brilliant. No scratches, peeling etc. new house for us and wasn't keen on colour. For £200 it's like a new door and they colour matched to a farrow and ball colour we love.

How long ago did you have it done @itbemay ?Sounds good if it lasts .
