My house is very wide (but not very deep if that makes sense) the previous owners extended sideways. As a result, our driveway is really wide and runs the full width of the house - it's basically a really short, wide strip of red block paving on a slight incline. It's really practical for visitor parking but looks absolutely shit.
Ideally I'd like to turn the bit in front of our living room window back into a garden but I've got no idea
a) how to turn patio back to garden
b) how to make the whole thing look good.
I feel like I need two separate people for this job but I just can't visualise how I want it to look, only that I don't t like how it currently looks!
Any ideas wise mumsnetters?
