How to get pests out of wall!

I moved into a rental a coupe of months ago and there is some kind of pest running around the walls, from the noise I'm guessing squirrels. It's an annexe and downstairs there's a garage (that belongs to landlord) and my kitchen and upstairs in my lounge, bedroom and bathroom. I'm essentially in the eaves and there's no loft. There is a small hole underneath the eaves of a dormer window on the outside so think this is how they got in. My landlord called the council pest control out but they have been useless. The issue is that there is no way to access inside the walls at all, as there's no access point they cannot put the traps, etc where they need to be. They tried putting them in the garage and the tree outside but nothing was caught. They are obviously happy just staying in the wall. My landlord won't call out a better pest control company as they are expensive and I'm stuck and don't know what to do. Happy to lay down traps and poison but can't get into the space they are in. Their access point is high up under the eaves of a dormer window and council pest control won't go up there. Any suggestions or ideas as the noise is really annoying?

Wait until it’s warmer and they move out, then get the access point blocked up.
Ear plugs until then?

Squirrels in your walls? Surely you mean whiskery friends with less bushy tails... 🐀

It’s more likely to be rats or mice. I had a rental with mice in the walls. I moved.
