Struggling with my kitchen cos of roof height

I am struggling on so many levels to be honest but:
there is a beam
then the ceiling is 10 cm lower

so its 2.4, 2.1, 2,3 and it makes the cupboards look pants

Any help?

@parietal I agree about the upstand - I just couldnt get the ikea planner to draw it!!

I dont need a tall cupboard and I like to be able to put things either side of the oven

& the board above the different levels is fab - perfect solution

I'm going to have another play I think

B is for bins in a drawer

The drawers facing the lounge are fab

the new plan looks better but you seem to have empty gaps behind the cupboards on both sides. was that deliberate?

where is the sink in your newest plan?

Sink is still in the breakfast bar, I was hoping to put appliance 'garages' on one side and make the cupboard line up with the frighe

the other is because of a stupid alcove

But I've done a better one not sure if I can get photos on my phone

I dont have a space either side of the oven and there is an ugly angle

But its OK I guess
