To clarify: I only mean the “fascia”, not extending anything or anywhere.

windows too?

WednesdaysPlaits · 11/01/2023 14:17

painting or replacing the tiles with cladding?

twittwooz · 11/01/2023 14:17

Yes including windows

So new windows, remove tiles on the top half and render the central section then paint the render?

twittwooz · 11/01/2023 14:20

This is all new to me so I’m not sure of the terminology but yes I think so!

About £6k depending on window choice

twittwooz · 11/01/2023 14:23

@WednesdaysPlaits Thank you! I was scared it would be more like £15k so that’s reassuring…

Are windows the most costly part would you say?

Depends on area. I would say more like £10-£15k round here ( SE )

Alwayswonderedwhy · 11/01/2023 14:33

About £15k maybe more.

WednesdaysPlaits · 11/01/2023 14:35

Clearly area dependent so the best thing is to get a few quotes.

OhhhhhhhhBiscuits · 11/01/2023 14:37

The rendering will probably be the most expensive part. Also you may need work done internally to get rid of the bay windows at the front.

Depending on the style you choose the windows won't be that expensive. If you're not keeping the bays they will be cheaper and they don't look very big, I'd estimate £600-£1500 tops for windows.

Just that elevation or the whole house?
