Does anyone have one? Would live to know what you think. I’m looking at a 90cm induction hob.

thank you

We have one, its about 5 years old now and whilst I love the look of it and the amount of oven space, the induction hob has been a little problematic, however that could have been the way it was fitted. It went off completely for a day or two after water was spilt not long after we had it installed but it came back on and was an irritating intermittent fault that didn't happenoften enoughto force us to get it locked at. Then two burners went off completely for a while last year and we needed to get someone out to fix it. Its fine now the control board has been replaced.

When we did have an issue, Rangemaster were completely uncommunicative, didn't respond to any emails for ages and then eventually quoted a high figure to even come out to look at it.

I do love it, plus we had a gas hob rangemaster previously in our old house which as far as I know is still going fine too. So all things considered, I probably would still get the same one again. The Elise fitted the space perfectly too!

That is very helpful, thanks. If you hadn’t had the fault, would you have any criticisms?

We've had our rangemaster elan 110 (induction with electric ovens) for about 7 years now having loved our previous elan we bought for previous property (gas hob, electric oven). We have no gas here so had to go full electric. So it's not an Elise but thought you might find this useful:

Must admit, been disappointed this time despite loving the look of it- wouldn't buy again.

The oven doors have caused problems; on one of the doors the seal comes off occasionally (though easy to repair ourselves), the other door doesn't close properly (slight gap) which causes heat/steam to rise into the induction, causing the induction to not work... we have to wait about 30 mins before it 'dries out'(?) for it to function again. Irritating for when you want to put on some veg after a roast. We haven't got round to getting it fixed because we're just using the other oven and life is too hectic to get round to organising the repair guy

The silver film around the timer switches has peeled off which doesn't look great.

DD managed to break the grill knob when she was about 2 which means it's constantly on so we end up turning the oven on/off at the wall each time, though we fully accept this was our fault and not rangemaster (but perhaps shows how flimsy it is?).

Apart from all that, terrific piece of kit! 😂

We've got a 110 induction and are very happy with it. Had it for 5 years no problems.

Only issues are the timer only beeps sometimes and I've cleaned the pictures showing which hob is which off the panel.

Induction with knob control is great, can't stand those touch controls and ovens are good, if a little hot. Grill a bit of a waste of space, but that's mostly our eating habits!

Good to hear, thank you!

Yes, probably! It fits the space, we have quite a narrow kitchen. My only other issue is it doesn't have a timer but we have a slow cooker and use Alexa to set reminders!

I have a rangemaster Elise 90 induction in stone blue. I’ve only been using it for three weeks but pleased with it. I was reluctant to move from gas to induction but I have to say the ease of cleaning is incredible compared to a gas hob (previously had a rangemaster classic with gas hob). The styling is beautiful although still getting used to not having a clock and timer, hardly a big deal and not having that is what gives it the french classic look. I’m still getting used to an induction hob but it boils very quickly and seems very responsive. I really like the oven but was used to rangemaster ovens. Overall very happy but let’s hope it’s still the case in a year or five years!

Thank you for these responses. Sounds good. I really like the look so this may be the one for us.
