Happy new year all!

We're getting a new kitchen this year and I would love some inspiration for worktops and units. If you love your kitchen please will you share a photo and where your purchased from? Thank you 😊

It’s Little Greenes French Grey 113 - we already had it in the dining room so extended it through to make the space more coherent. It’s a massive transformation - worth every penny! Our kitchen is never going to be the biggest width wise (and we can’t extend sideways) but it feels so much less claustrophobic than before. There’s even a slimline integrated dishwasher - first time I’ve ever owned one and I’ve no idea how I ever managed without it 😂

Ah, yes, dishwasher becomes essential as soon as you get one! We got one when we started weaning our eldest and have never looked back. It's great that there are slimline and tabletop options for smaller spaces

Absolutely love ours, local designer

Love the floor! I’m after something similar. Can I ask what flooring that is?

We love ours from Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch, painted and fitted ourselves four years ago after moving the kitchen from back to front of the house (combining the former living and dining rooms to make the required kitchen big enough for island, sofa and wood burner).

Such a lovely country cottage feel to your kitchen. Love it! Those light shades as well! 😍

Thank you @TickTickTock 🙂

The light shades were from Curiouser and Curiouser...not for the faint hearted but they definitely make a statement!

Agh! Too many LVT oak parquets to choose from! The one I thought I liked isn’t quite right - the sample is nothing like a photo of a finished floor I’ve seen by my flooring guy. Back to the drawing board. Thank you though. 😊

Ours was put in by the previous owners. I’d like to get the cabinets recovered in a darker grey or green, but I do love the extension they put on where the table is, and the two ovens are so helpful.

@AquaTofana I think it is this tlc enriched oak parquet

All done by a local kitchen fitter who used Hayden’s Kitchens for the cabinets and a local quartz company.

We had a nasty leak under the floor back in September 2020. After 18 months, 6 of which spent in a mobile kitchen on the front drive, the new kitchen, mainly but not entirely, paid for by the insurance finally got finished in April. Its a massive room. The previous owners knocked through the original kitchen and dining room and added an extension on the back with a very small utility room/toilet.

My artist Goddaughter gave me the idea for a Moroccan themed kitchen and I absolutely love it. The seating area has changed a bit since this picture. We now have a fluffy grey rug, a barrel coffee table, another arm chair and bean bags for the kids.

Forgot to mention - the old kitchen had an island and I never really like it so decided not to replace the island but instead have a big family table in the middle where the island was.

Gorgeous kitchens on this thread.
Suggest pan draws as pp have said. I love the drinks cabinetry kitchen fitters built for me as well as my wine fridge (not shown).
After having a previous kitchen with very little storage I'm revelling in the ample cupboard and worktop space. My brain feels lighter.

Definitely deep draws.

Our almost 15 year old kitchen. Love the layout but thinking about getting the cupboards sprayed matt. Gloss is so hard to keep clean.

NC as it's a tad outing. We went very basic on the units in the hope they don't date. They're Howden's, a simple shaker style, in ivory. The worktop is grey quartz from a local independent place. We're 11 months in and I have not a single regret. It won't let me post more than one pic so will add more below.

It was glorious last summer. Still lovely and light now but can't wait to throw the doors open again!

Our favourite colour is orange so the radiator choice was a bit of a fuck it moment. I know all the colours throughout the tiles and furniture aren't to everyone's choice but not having a sterile, dull kitchen was the number one rule. We waited 12 years for it so we went for it!

@Kitchen22

as long as you guys love it, who cares what anyone else thinks!!

i like the tiles & the furniture! I think the tiles were a brave choice, but they work so well.

where are your cabinets from? Which range?

I saw your rad in a magazine today! They should so use your kitchen for an Ad! FAR better than their picture! My friend has a navy one in her kitchen & a charcoal one in her lounge. But the orange one really does look amazing!

I love that your island doesn't have Hobbs/sink etc on it.

I presume your skylights are electric?

I decided not to go electric in the bathroom as it was SO much more expensive and I could just use the pole. I regret that decision! Last time I looked I couldn't see the matching size in electric, but I might call them tomorrow.
