Shed building

Just trying to get an idea of pricing : 10×8 shed, base and shed put up, concrete base. I'm getting quotes of 3k, does that sound right?

Our concrete base, similar size, was £2k about eight years ago.

After building two sheds in the past with DH, hours of work and rows, we had a new one on our allotment in '21. We had to extend the base as it was a bigger shed (5×6) and the men came and put up the flat pack shed in 45 minutes! We used a firm in Wellingborough, about 2 hours away from us. Total cost including putting it up was £550.

@tedgran thats a bargain! @PragmaticWench are you in London? I'm in London myself and they are all saying about 3 days work, 3.5k to remove old, put new concrete base down, put new one up.

We're slightly north of London so similar prices. If they're taking down and disposing of the old one I think your price sounds okay. Maybe get another quote?
