Colours that go with emerald? Help!

Painted accent wall Dunelm emerald green. Rest of the room is huge and is pure brilliant white as painted when we moved in, which I dislike. I'm seriously struggling to find a colour that will look nice with the emerald, I am looking for a neutral and contemporary shade (north facing room).

Could anyone help with any suggestions? We've tested quartz grey by dulux heritage but it's quite taupe.

Dulux Heritage Flax Seed could be lovely, or possibly F&B Cornforth White? Something with a bit of warmth to it and not too much yellow I reckon!

We've ended up going with a yellow based off white as nothing else looked right. Almond white or moonlight white type of colours. It's a bit less harsh than brilliant white

A dusky pink could be nice.

If its a big room I'd just paint all of it Emerald green. It's a lovely colour!

Yep as above I’d paint the whole room emerald, it’s a big room so it’ll look fabulous

I love that colour! I would also go with a warm off white. Dulux Egyptian Cotton would be nice.

I'd try timeless.or Egyptian cotton (both by Dulux)

DD has a very similar colour and her other walls are a rich clotted cream.

I would LOVE to paint it pink but my husband would absolutely hate it 😂 the clock is from Dunelm too! It's huge and really good value

Thanks all. Dulux Quartz grey and Egyptian cotton don't look too dissimilar although EC looks a bit more beige and QG more taupe.

I do like flax seed too. Cream is another option but I worry it may look too bare or dated as the opposite wall is nearly 7m long.

Also came on to say dulux Egyptian cotton. I really recommend trying in on a wall… it looks like 3 completely different colours in my house depending on the light.

Blush/nude pink.
It should be sufficiently "Not pink" to satisfy your husband. Just call it something else.."Naked Llama" or something...

farrow and ball schoolhouse white. Egyptian cotton starting to look a bit dated.

F&B school house white. We have this with Green Smoke in our living room and it looks great. Contemporary neutral but warm. Slightly bolder than Timeless, (we have this in our Hall).

I'd do it all that colour, it's gorgeous

I do love school house white! Loads of colours I like, I just wonder if they'd go with this particular shade of green.

Also, to those who have said to paint the whole room emerald - it's very tempting, but since it's an open plan kitchen/living/dining, I'm trying to paint with a few different colours to create zones

I have a large room, also North-Facing and I've just done a similar colour to the emerald on two walls to zone a Tv/sitting area and went for F&B Mizzle (mixed in Johnstons) on the others and I'm so pleased with it! It's slightly greeny/grey but quite warm and tones in well with the green, while still being light.

Update - painted it in Egyptian cotton and LOVE it! Thank you for the suggestions!

I have the same paint on a feature wall -it’s with an off white and I have dusky pink tones in pictures etc nearby. I don’t even like pink normally but it looks great
