Ordered up some engineered wood samples from Kahrs…I ordered ultra Matt laquer finish in a variety of oaks as I was advised that this was a tougher finish more suitable for pets/kids and less maintenance than oiled. They’ve arrived and they are beautiful! They don’t look like they have any type of finish/laquer on them though and I’ve not taken a hammer to them yet but I’m dubious they are going to survive even a gentle going over!
are samples sent without the finish would anyone know?
anyone with this type of flooring able to provide any insight on wear-ability?
