Kitchen island downdraft extractor

We are designing a new layout for our kitchen and would like to have the hob in the island... has anyone got a downdraft extractor fan in an island that works well, there seem so many bad product reviews. Many thanks.

I have a Bora hob with an integrated extractor. We absolutely love it.

I will say however, that we do have a big enough kitchen, so we don’t have to rely on it as we might if we had a smaller kitchen (if that makes sense?!)

We also have Bora hob with integrated extractor and absolutely love it . Have it 5 years now . You need to lay a pipe under the floor so mightn't suit you , we were extending our kitchen at the time we bought ours. I
