Prettyish Shed flooring?

Not sure if this is a decorating question but I've just put up a big shed which is actually very roomy and I wondered what sort of flooring I should use to make it almost accommodating! It's big enough for tools but I want something nice on the floor so its more than just a toolshed. Am I mad to consider carpet?

Carpet would be a nightmare to keep clean if you're going in and out with outdoor shoes on. My shed often has mud on the floor as I'm a keen gardener!

You could try laminate or lino?

You could also paint the floor using floorboard paint.

But personally I wouldn't spend the money on making a tool shed pretty and would buy something nice for the house, instead... 😇
