Anyone done this. Putting together a new dressing room in January and using the pax system. But I want them a different colour.
Anyone done this? What do u recommend primer wise. Any paint that is better than others for this ? Any help will be gratefully received

I painted mine with Frenchic, a mix of their al fresco range and then just the normal ones, I didn’t use any primer. Cleaned with sugar soap and sanded to start.

I’ve just painted my bedroom furniture in Frenchic paint (Hornblower). Cleaned it with sugar soap, but of light sanding and then two coats of paint and it looks fabulous. Furniture was a mixture of varnished wood and a couple of Ikea pieces. I like it so much I’m looking round for more stuff to paint!

I painted my pax with Valspar furniture paint, 2 coats, no primer, no wax etc. as it’s an all in one product

@thenewaveragebear1983 how has it held up? My husband is worried about the paint flaking off.

@Paranoidandroidmarvin it hasn’t flaked at all, however there are a few scratches where dh has hung coat hangers on the doors and they have scratched the surface.
