I'd like to get the dcs hanging sensory swing seats for Xmas but one of them sleeps in a converted loft room. There is no dormer - just sloping ceiling on both sides with a 45cm wide flat bit in the middle. I know how to locate the ceiling beams and have successfully done so on lower levels to hang a punch bag and other ceiling mounted fittings but wondering if there will be big beams, strong enough to take an occupied swing seat weight, in either the flat bit (I'm guessing not) or in the sloping sides (I'm guessing there will be - holding the roof up?)
Anyone have any advice or experience?
