Kitchen diner flooring recommendations

Hello. What type of flooring would you recommend for good durability and price? I’ve heard good things about Karndean and luxury vinyl. Any bad experiences with laminate/karndean/luxury vinyl etc.? I’d quite like to have the same flooring in the kitchen and bathroom.

I’ve attached an image of the kind of style I like.

Thanks!

We are going for something like that. I'm trying to decide between a plank look or a tile or pattern look. For the whole of downstairs

Karndean planks here throughout downstairs and in my studio which gets heavy usage. Absolutely indestructible, although I have small pieces of carpet to protect against cello spikes.

@FourChimneys thanks for the info! Sounds like it’s a good option.

Does underfloor heating work well with LVT? My builder seems to think not is trying to steer us towards tiles but I hate how they are cold and hard underfoot (north facing kitchen) and don’t want to have the heating in spring, for example, just to make the floor warm
