We actually just offered the asking price on the house we’re buying. It was the best thing we’d seen by a mile, they had other offers and we didn’t want to risk losing it.

We’ve just offered £10K less than the asking price for a house and we’re accepted. We’ve also sold ours at the asking price. Totally depends on the area and how the market is where you are. We’re outskirts of London and it’s still relatively buoyant
