Smart Thermostat

We are moving to a new home. We had hive in our previous home. I was going to install a tado system in the new house because of the individual heater controls. But I just discovered Hove does these too.
I want to make the most of the Black Friday Sales and buy the start of the system. Which one would you pick?

Can’t you take the hive with you? I’m pretty sure it’s smart features won’t work for the new owners.

@etulosba I believe we can take the hub with us but have to leave the rest. So the new owners can control the boiler

I seem to remember some posts on here where previous owners had taken the hub which left the new owners without any means to control the heating.

As you say, you might as well start again. There is also the Nest. Which might be worth a look.

We have tado which I do like but the thermostats are a little temperamental. They can go off line, need new batteries etc. It's good but not perfect.

When I moved I swapped the hive thermostat and receiver over to a none smart one and took the hive with me. My dad helped me (he connected up the hive for me in my old house)

I hate my nest I find it really unintuitive to use - I wish I bought a hive
