Who does the nicest kitchen taps?

I've just bought a couple from Abode and not that keen on them. They are Brass, but coated and so look kind or plastic looking.

I would prefer something a bit more authentic looking, even if that means it ages over time.

Not remotely interested in an instant boiling water tap, but want a single level.

Anyone got any ideas or recommendations?

I've got Perrin & Rowe pewter finish, 3 years old now and look as good as new.

Perrin & Rowe
Barber Wilson
Hansgrohe

We've had all these before and all are very good imho.

We currently have an articulated one from Hornbeam Ivy/Steamvalve Originals that I love - I'm embarrassed to say it cost £795 (RRP was £900 😳) in 2015. We only plumbed it in during 2018 but it looks like new and I love it. If we sell this house it's coming with us, lol!

Dornbracht.

You'll probably need to extend your mortgage though!

For raw brass I like Studio Ore, but they do no come cheap.
