Can you put a 2 ring gas & 2 ring electric hob on an 800 ikea unit please?

I can't see why 800mm wouldn't be wide enough - the 2-ring "domino" hobs are typically about 300mm wide so I would think two should fit pretty comfortably.

The type of unit might also be a factor to consider. When planning our kitchen we initially wanted drawers under the hob but were warned that a shallow top drawer might not be possible with a hob due to the depth of the hob protruding below the worktop. I have a feeling that gas hobs may be worse than electric in this respect, too. We ended up having a unit with two deep pan drawers, which was okay. A highline cupboard would have been the easiest, I suppose.
