Hi I’m looking for advice. I had agreed to a new kitchen and bathroom install. I have provided most of what was needed for the install so just labour and some items. This has been ongoing since July . I still don’t have a finished bathroom or kitchen. I have two leaks one has ruined a full room and the other a ceiling. I’ve now found out today that we’ve been exposed to asbestos in the ceiling for 3 months. I’ve since found out they cancelled the plasterer to fix the ceiling and just left the exposed asbestos. I’m paying £8000 to fit kitchen and bathroom and another £3000 to fix damage that was caused by the leak . I said I’d pay this week but nothing is finished and we’ve been exposed to their damage, delays and asbestos for months. I’m happy to pay for all work but I’m now so angry my children have had to be exposed to dangerous asbestos, we’ve had no hot water , no washing machine , dishwasher or no working kitchen for months .I’ve not been able to wash dishes or cook as no oven etc. Any advice before I speak to them
