A floorplan query

What do we do with this. The downstairs WC is in front of the back garden which is utterly bizarre to me. We're thinking wc to left of entry which flows through to open plan kitchen diner. Knock through at the end facing the garden. The back section is an extension so the walls are plasterboard.

Are there windows from the lounge to garage?

I'd have the loo off the hall, never off a kitchen!

There's one tiny little window. We're thinking to put a big picture window on the right side of the top room. Get more light in. Not bifolds, feel like they're over done.

Like this.

So the light blue square is the toilet, yellow bit is the utility.

Like @LegoLady95 but slightly tweaked to allow for the soil pipe not having to be moved.

@WalkingOnSonshine if the top part is extension I wonder where the original bathroom was?

As others have said, it might be tricky/expensive to move the bathroom if there’s no plumbing at the front of the house. You could get a macerator toilet I suppose, not ideal though.

Where the shower room is. If your house is old, it may not have even had a bathroom. Mine had an outside toilet and that was it.

Original bathroom would have been the shower room plus the corridor next to it, so the soilpipe is probably below that

So hopefully straightforward to place WC in vicinity.
