Hi I could really do with some advice.
we put an offer on our first home 2nd week September. I have been rather proactive in ensuring things are done on time. I have a great solicitor who is on the ball.
however, we are now Ready to complete/exchange but the sellers (Who put an offer in on their purchase in August) are yet to receive their mortgage offer.
My mortgage offer runs out second week of December I’ve spoke to the lender they will extend with an extra 2% on top.
I am constantly ringing the estate agent and the vendor to try and get this pushed and all I keep getting is get your offer extended To free sometime
I now don’t know if to just pull out Or hope that this short timescale will push them all to get this completed before Christmas. It took for me to push for them to even start the searches which they only did yesterday. 10 weeks has passed since their offer was accepted and not one thing has been done.
