What order should these landscape/garage reno projects be done in, and by which trades?

I've been wanting to do this for ages and have found it impossible to find one firm that will do the following or organise it to be done. Who do I ask to do what, and in what order? Our garage backs onto the end of our garden that is filled with rotten decking. There is then a circle of loose flint, which we hate, and then a fairly scrubby lawn, and then a tired and very narrow patio, and then the house. We would like to:

Put a door in the garage and run power from the house to the garage so that I can have the chest freezer of my dreams.

  1. Remove the rotten decking in front of the garage and replace it with a patio.
  1. Remove and replace the horrid patio directly outside the house, extend it so that you can comfortably put a table and chairs on it, and run a path connecting the patios (under which I would have thought it would be sensible to run the power lines?).

Surely electrician for power, landscaper for all patio related issues, then new garage door.

Do you mean an external door at the back into the garage? If so you'd want that doing before the patio I would think. Otherwise they're ripping out bricks onto your new patio...

Yes, I guess I need the landscaper to work out the path and dig it up, then someone to do the door, then the electrician to do the power, then the landscaper to finish. Thanks!
