We’ve recently moved to a property with a conservatory attached to the dining room. In the summer, it was lovely to use the space as a playroom for our 2yo (thankfully with the windows and doors open it wasn’t too hot), but there is a noticeable difference in temperature in there now the weather has got colder.
We want to make this space useable year round so we’re looking at changing the roof from polycarbonate to a tiled roof. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? We have low brick walls and glazing above so we believe the foundations will take the heavier roof.
